Step into the heart of Mexico’s traditions with a day that celebrates beauty, culture, and connection. We’ll begin among the brilliant fields of marigolds - in Spanish, cempasúchil —the iconic flower of Día de los Muertos. Their golden-orange petals and strong fragrance have long been believed to guide the spirits of loved ones back to their families, creating luminous paths from cemeteries to altars (ofrendas) and symbolizing the eternal bridge between life and death. Here, you’ll gather armfuls of blossoms and capture breathtaking photos in fields that shimmer with history and meaning.
From the flower fields, we’ll journey into the artisan town of Comonfort, where you can wander through local shops and discover handcrafts that reflect the region’s traditions.
Our tour continues on to Los Remedios Winery, where a specially prepared garden lunch awaits, served under an ancient árbol de caucho (rubber tree) surrounded by the bucolic landscape. The experience…
