Cancellation Policy
Empress of Cheese class, event and tour cancellation and refund policy below.
Empress of Cheese ticket purchases for events and purchases for tours are nonrefundable with the following exceptions:

Tickets purchased for classes or cooking events that are more than 14 days away from the date of cancellation may be cancelled with a full refund minus any expenses incurred by Empress of Cheese. The refund will be initiated within 7 days of the request or sooner as possible.

Tickets are transferrable to another person for class events up to 24 hours from the date of the event. Empress of Cheese must be notified of the transfer prior to the day of the event and the original ticket purchaser will be responsible for transferring the ticket and collecting the cost of the ticket from the new ticket holder.

Empress of Cheese will attempt to resell the class event ticket for the ticket purchaser if there is a waiting list and if the class is occurring 72 hours or more in the future, and if successful will coordinate the transfer of the ticket and money between the two parties.

Tickets purchased for tours occurring more than 180 days from the requested date of cancellation are refundable minus and expenses incurred by Empress of Cheese: refunds will be initiated within 30 days of cancellation. Cancellations occurring in less than 180 days are nonrefundable unless and until the room is refilled and paid for.

In the case that a cancelled room in a tour is refilled by the purchaser or Empress of Cheese, a full refund will be provided up to the amount the new purchaser pays. Any costs incurred by Empress of Cheese in order to resell the ticket or room may be deducted from the refund.

In the case that Empress of Cheese cancels an event or tour, a full refund will be given to each ticket holder within 7 days of the scheduled event.
