Join us for a flavorful journey at La Estrella goat farm that begins in the garden and ends on your plate. This immersive class combines the art of pickling cucumbers and understanding cheddar cheese with a guided tour of our flourishing garden, where we’ll see what’s in season and talk about growing ingredients for preservation. You’ll meet our friendly goats (the stars behind the milk), as well as our flock of chickens and waddling ducks, and learn how animals and gardens work together in a sustainable farm ecosystem. Then we’ll dive into hands-on pickling, cheddar tasting, and a deep dive into the fermentation processes that bring these tangy, satisfying classics to life. Come for the goats—leave with pickles and cheese.
