About the event
A last minute, wild and crazy idea to introduce people to the cheese makers and delicious 2026 cheeses of Rancho Jose SantaMaria in Queretaro, a sheep ranch and dairy located a couple of hours from here. Also joining the ranchers is April Peterson, the owner of the local vineyard, El Pavo Real, to share with us her passion for local Mexican wine.
Date is Wednesday, March 11th from 1 pm to 2:30pm at my house in Vista Antigua at Violeta 14. A donation of 600 pesos (or more!) is requested at the door; all proceeds go to CILA, the local preschool in the colonia Santa Julia, a day care and school for babies and children to 6 years old living in extreme poverty in the campo.
